Sales volume declined from June volume overall, and for detached homes, but the number of attached home sales increased slightly. A similarly patter is seen for average sales prices.

At the end of July 2011 there were 9435 Oceanside homes for sale, just 1% fewer than last month. This represents an inventory of 5.8 months for detached homes (down from 6.3 months in June) and 4.7 months for attached homes (down from 5.3 months in June) based on the current rate of sales over the last 6 months.?

In July 216 Oceanside homes came on the market, about 27% fewer than in June (284). During July the number of homes going pending (170) also declined, by 15% from last month?s pendings.
