Ermahgerd Ernterst Cherk!

Uh, I mean, interest check...

Bahahaha, don't you just love the Interwebs?~ And now that I have your attention (for the most part), let me introduce myself!

I go by the names of Avelyne, Avel, Avvy, or Tara. As long as I know you're referring to me, I don't care. Just be nice. I am a twenty year old junior at my local university and also a dance teacher. My schedule during the week is more or less hectic and has be running around the place like a chicken with its head cut off. With that said, I'm not always capable of being online for leisure. I'm sure most of you around my age understand this. However, I will do my very best to be on at least once or twice a week.

Righto. So about me as a writer/role player. I'm not the definition of perfect. I mess up a bit and that's when I'm thankful for Word and spell check. But I strive to maintain above average grammar, punctuation, and spelling. I also have a tendency of using an incoherent thought process in my writing. I've gotten better, but when my brain isn't working all the way, I slip back into my old habits. Just let me know if my writing didn't make sense, my feelings won't be hurt.

Fabulous, onto the stuff the floats around my head on a daily basis. I love coming up with plots/settings/characters. If I'm on a creative kick, I'll have to stop myself from creating SO MANY characters. It's ridiculous, honestly. And my soft spot definitely lies in Historical Fiction; then my next weakness in Fantasy. While these are my top 2 favorite styles to role play in, they aren't the only things that I can and will do. Please note, these lists can change at any time. There will be update notes with a date to inform you of what has changed since you have last seen the lists.

Themes I'm comfortable with:
Historical Fiction
Fantasy (Medieval, Modern, Dark, etc.)
Ancient Egypt
Archaeological digs
Twisted Fairy Tales
Some Sci-Fi/Futuristic (You'll have to run the idea by me first)
Some Post-Apocalyptic (Again, run the idea by me)
Good vs Evil (I LOVE playing the role of the demon, personally~)
Matthew Reilly books
Godspeaker Trilogy by Karen Miller
Masquerades (Because masks are best)

Themes I'm willing to try:
Dark Circus
Some odd pairings
DC*Verse
Pirates (Either original or PoTC)
Anthropomorphic

Themes I WILL NOT do:
Twilight
High school (because apparently nobody wants to leave it)
Most animes/mangas (I don't hate anime/manga; I love it. But I don't know most of them)
Harry Potter (I don't dislike HP, I'm very neutral about it. I just have no knowledge about it to carry a role play)
Pokemon (Same reason as above)
Hunger Games

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST SOMETHING THAT IS NOT ON THE LISTS. I won't bite your head off if I don't care for it.

Now before I finish this up, I would just like to clarify that for right now, I'm only looking for one on ones. I need to practice my role playing skills some more before diving head first into a group role play. Not saying I'm terrible at the moment, but I'm just a bit rusty.

With looking for a partner, I'm just looking for someone who can give me the same amount of effort that I put into a role play. Just have at least an average capability of grammar, punctuation, and spelling in the English language and we'll be good. Also, I would like to point out that I do not always have a plot ready to go; most of the time I don't. I prefer to tailor my role plays with the partner I'm with so that we both can enjoy it and get the best out of it. Just don't expect me to do all of the work. Team effect, yay!

Alright, alright. I'm pretty much done rambling now. Sorry for being such a bore, I'm much more fun when I'm not trying to write my life story, haha. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, true stories of adventure, please feel free to post here or PM me! I'll be around.~

With love,
?? Avelyne
