Bathroom Talk and the F-Word ? wedding preview event

This is something we have to talk about. I?m always curious how others deal with bodily functions within their relationships. Some friends of mine are totally open and would fart on the first date. Another friend of mine has been with her guy for almost 20 years (yes, they were just about infants when they started dating) and hasn?t ever passed gas in front of him. Unless something has changed since I last asked, that?s a whole lot of ?holding it in?.

If you?re getting ready to walk down the aisle?how with the next 5 years look for you? Are you already a pretty open couple when it comes to this sort of thing or are you dreading the day you let one slip out?

Diddy one said, ?You can?t really trust a woman until she farts in front of you, because if she can hide farts from you, she?s capable of hiding anything.?

Same thing goes for the ol? #2 in the bathroom, huh?

When I was 16, I was dating a guy who only knew me to be proper-ish. I say ?ish? because I?m never totally proper in ANY situation. It?s just not in me. I didn?t ever (nor did I plan to) let one ?go? in front of him. Well, until he was tickling me at a barbeque. Why need to mention the barbeque in this story? Baked beans anyone? I was so embarrassed that I started crying.

Now I?m married. Not to the same person. No, it wasn?t because of the fart. I barely even close the door. How GROSS can one person be? Don?t know the answer? Ask me, I?ve got a ton of answers in that department. I hold nothing back and I?m still married. Bless his heart.

I about died when I read this post about going #2 and the etiquette for couples found on The Frisky. Hilarious stuff.

What are your thoughts? Do you agree with Diddy about his stance on farts or do you think that keeping the grossness all bottled up (including bathroom stuff) keeps the relationship more romantic?

What?s your situation?
