Ouya and GameStick may be busy working to bring Android games to your living room with miniature gaming consoles. And NVIDIA may be working to combine an Android tablet and a traditional video game console with its Project Shield handheld gaming device with a built-in controller.
But Sunflex is taking a different approach, by offering a standalone unu tablet aimed at gaming? along with accessories that let you use it as a video game console in your living room
The idea is that can play games using the touchscreen tablet, hook up a wireless game controller for some hard-core gaming action on the go, and plug the tablet into an HDTV via a docking station to play those games on a big screen.
There?s also an air mouse which you can use to navigate the Android user interface on your TV, although Sunflex uni also features a custom UI for gaming. But the air-mouse could come in handy for touch-based Android games. The back of the mouse also features a keyboard.
Sunflex has yet to reveal the price or launch date for the unu system.
